
Luss, Loch Lomond
Luss is located in Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park that has stood since medieval times although much of the current village dates from the 18th and 19th centuries. The village is known for its well-preserved prim sandstone and slate cottages originally built for slate quarry workers. Not to mention its charming village paths for exploring and narrow sandy, pebbly strand along the shore. The 19th century parish church offers a haven of peace and has a lovely ceiling made from Scots pine rafters and some beautiful Victorian stained-glass windows.

Restaurants
Luss offers a number of local cafes and restaurants you can grab some lunch at The Village Rest or a dinner later in the evening at the Loch Lomond hotel with Lochside views or the traditional Loch Lomond Arms.
Groceries
The Village Shop is located in Luss car park and offers groceries, gifts, coffee and an ice-cream. Outside the shop is the Sassenach food van with hot food, coffee and cake selection.


Walks
You can enjoy short, easy walks like the Luss Lochside Path or the Luss Heritage Trail for a historical 1.5-mile loop through the village and countryside. You can also go on the Luss Faerie Trail for a woodland adventure with the kids, filled with faeries, trolls, unicorns and amazing views!
Hikes
Near Luss, you can hike the Beinn Dubh and Glen Striddle Horseshoe for stunning views. For longer adventures, why not consider a famous munro such as Ben Lomond and Beinn Narnain, with Ben Lomond being a particularly popular choice for a first Munro.
The Loch
Luss is located directly on the shore of Loch Lomond, so why not take a stroll down to the Loch where you will find water sports, boat tours and an outdoor sauna to enjoy after a cold dip!
